I was doing my usual seek and search on eBay, and it has come to my attention that the DVD boxed set of My-So Called Life has been infiltrated by the DVD+R club. In other words, there are bootlegs out there that people are selling. What is surprising is that some people are actually stating its a DVD+R or DVD-R on the auction page. I thought eBay takes those out. Well, they are there. Also, they are stating they are Region 0 or Region Free. It is noted on the page of My So-Called Life here that the original set is a Region 1. Prices have been affected by theseDVD-R's as they have come down, sometimes near 100.00. Before Christmas, it was almost impossible to get one for less than $300.00. Auctions such as this Region Free offering, or this DVD-R offering are two examples of the blatant reproduction. Digital has no value. That is my motto. Digital has no value. At any rate, I found it an interesting note.
