Watchful Eye
Here are just a few DVD's that you might want to keep an eye on.
The first is called "Divine B. B." The "B.B." stands for Brigitte Bardot. This collection of DVD's features Brigitte to music. That's right, for those of you who forgot, she put out some music along with these music videos. Originally released in the time of 1961-1969, these are compilations of various specials display sexy Bardot in a form we rarely, if ever, get to see. Many of the other features also elaborate on director Eddy Batalon, but for the most part its all Bardot. The DVD received some great reviews across the board and so, if not for collectible reasons, then most certainly for pure enjoyment!
Another DVD I thought might be worthwhile to watch is Chronos.
Yes, this DVD directed by Ron Fricke (cinematographer to Koyaanisqatsi), has been out of print once before and caused a stir in the marketplace. This is the newer special edition from Goldhil with DTS sound enhanced. It has been reported that Goldhil will re-release this film on March 28th with HD-DVD and Blu-Ray to avoid any confusion for the buyer. Whether these can be played in any DVD player is yet unknown, but how it will affect the market if an HD-DVD version is available and the standard DVD is discontinued, we shall see.
Disclaimer: While I suggest these as potentials, I do not guarantee their future value, nor their discontinued status. Any action taken is the sole responsibility of the buyer/seller and not this writer nor the website this article is displayed on.
