Dario Argento
Lets take a quick look at some Dario Argento DVDs that are starting to stir some movement in the market.
First is definately the Limited Edition to 60,000 copies, the 3-disc set from Anchor Bay, Suspiria. Amazon prices shot up, and some prices on eBay are definately starting to move. It seemed forever for this title took to go out of print and now it seems they have almost dried up in a heartbeat. Second, which you may still have a chance to nab cheaply is the other 2-disc set from Anchor Bay, Opera. Amazon states it takes a few weeks, so check it out now before they go out.
Other DVDs from Argento which have been out of print which you may not know about are Tenebre, Tenebre/Deep Red (Limited Edition),
Phenomenon (Creepers), Inferno/Phenomena (Limited Edition), Demons/Demons 2 (he only wrote and produced these, also a limited edition) and Dario Argento's World of Horror documentary. All but the latter are from Anchor Bay. There is also one other film released by Blue Underground titled Two Evil Eyes, which teams up Argento with other horror master George A. Romero. While this DVD is still in print, it is a limited edition of 30,000.
