NoShame Films released some 40 titles on dvd in the US and all are now discontinued.

Additionally, NoShame released two boxed sets, both limited editions. "Dark Waters" had 3,000 pieces produced and included a stone amulet replica, while "The Emilio Miraglia Killer Queen Box Set" was limited (and individually numbered) to 7,000 pieces and included a Red Queen figure.


The final title scheduled to be released by them was Dario Argento's "Door Into Darkness", but the label folded before the release could be pressed. Fortunately for fans, it did see the light of day from a new company, Mya Commincation, early this year.


Now, for those that don't know, Mya Communication is essentially NoShame 2.0. Their releases are very much along the same lines, with the primary focus on the Italian giallo and sex comedy. The biggest difference between the labels is that the Mya releases have no booklets, very little extras, and often no subtitles for their post-60's alternate Italian tracks (whereas NoShame was known for their detailed booklets and generous extras). Unfortunate, but perhaps a necessary cost-cutting move. Anyway, if you are interested in any of Mya's titles I suggest you get them now because you never know what will happen to them in the future. Interesting note: "The Maniacs" is a comedy from famed Italian filmmaker Lucio Fulci ("The Beyond", "City of the Living Dead"). It is the director's only collaboration with legendary scream queen Barbara Steele.

Lastly, I could not leave you without pointing out one of the more popular actresses to appear in the NoShame and Mya dvds. Her name is Edwige Fenech. Take a look at the photos below and you can see why she is known as a sex goddess the world over.
